Often in the past the only courses available to the new production and inventory management practitioner were the CPIM review courses.  The APICS Fundamentals courses are targeted toward the new practitioner, and are not intended to directly prepare students to take the APICS CPIM professional certification exams.

We believe that the Fundamentals courses are best suited for:

-the novice student

-the person new to the field of materials or operations management

-the person who needs practical education prior to taking APICS certification

-the person in search of practical tools and techniques to improve operational performance
